“Game developers don't want to do the same thing twice,” Okamoto said of the Japanese team. “I think that as the original developers, they wanted to change a lot of parts. Thanks to the opinion of Bloober Team, who are big fans of the original game, the remake stayed very faithful to the original.”
Remake should still be modern

For example, the remake of “Silent Hill 2” will not use the “yellow color” often discussed by fans to guide users through the environment. Instead, the game will use other visual cues, such as turning the head of the protagonist James Sunderland or the lighting.
There will also be a few changes to the dialogues and give to the worldIn addition, some animations in combat have been revised. Changes also affect the puzzles in the remake. Not only have recurring puzzles been adapted, but completely new ones have also been added to “Silent Hill 2”.
