The Opera browser for Android has a convenient AI tool for quickly familiarizing yourself with the content of web pages. The new feature generates concise summaries of long articles and posts, saving you time understanding the topic and searching for key details. To use the Summary feature, you need to update Opera for Android to the latest version and sign in to your account.
The text summarization tool is based on Opera's built-in AI assistant, Aria. The user just needs to open any text page in Opera, click on the three dots in the upper right corner and select “Summary” next to the Aria icon. This will open a dialog that will present a short summary of the article, usually fitting on one screen.
Such a summary helps you quickly understand the essence, highlight the main points and decide whether it is worth the time to read it in full. This is really convenient when you need to quickly get acquainted with a large amount of information found on the Internet. The assistant can also now read text responses out loud.
Let us remind you that the artificial intelligence assistant Aria was integrated into the Opera browser about a year ago. It works like a chatbot, answering user questions and is an alternative to traditional Internet search. And most recently, Aria added the ability to generate images based on text queries using Google's Imagen 2 technology.
The developers are constantly expanding the functionality of Aria using a special update program called AI Feature Drops, so that users receive all the latest improvements to comfortably use all the options of the smart browser.
